You dont have a regular parts supplier for Countachs down in the Redneck Riviera? LOL.

Seriously though, Raymond Stoffer's setup from Switzerland is very good Ive heard, and closer to home I would try King George [also known as George The Great :)] at Evans Automotive in Ohio www.evansauto.com.
Use my name and see if he hangs up....

My thoughts exactly. Maybe now would be a good time to sell?
Steve, please post some images of the aforementioned car together with details and actually share some Countach information here in this community. Surely thats not asking too much?

PS - Ralph, love the "geaux" reference. Priceless! Didnt notice it at first, but Im picking myself off the floor now. You have a wicked sense of humor and now I know you get it from your dad: he told me he was thinking of going to Vegas with about a quarter million dollars ;-)

Roy, thats actually a genuinely nice deal (QV enthusiasts, dont be caught asleep). A car with a few miles is often a lot better than one without as the car has been "de-bugged". Didnt King George perform major maintenance and get this one well-fettled? Anyway, I like the livery: sort of signature for a QV.

PS - Hey I just noticed the pearl white one too! You sir are now the official "QV King"....

Yes King George just finished Major Engine out service, including NEW clutch, hoses, seals, flywheel, pressure plate, fluids, filters, plugs, tune up, carb adjust...I been driving it back and forth to work the last few weeks...

It is ONE heck of a quick car..TOOK out all the aftermarket speakers, radio and crap, so probably should update the photots, also removed the wing, had the deck prepd and re-sprayed...

    oh-oh...

I heard these boxes gives always problems but I just wonder how the can break down, I know one fuse in the back always get hot then the car also can stop running because the contact from the fuse is not good anymore, I had this with an anniversario so perhaps before buying a new box check these fuses in the gray box on the left in the boot.. who knows..

but eh now I am going to drive and start my cars! ciao!

My dad is no playa. When I was a teenager, we both went over to the M.B. dealer, and he proceeded to buy a new car in his undershirt. - After a day of work in the wharehouse.

He is not unfamilar with Vegas though. He loves to people watch. Yet, he is probably more at home reading a serious hardback book. His vice, is collecting Indian pots in Santa Fe. Some of the intense Indian Pot collectors, take no prisoners, when the serious under the table material is asked for. - It is amusing to see a bunch of adults, act like a group of six year old children (not him).

Well it will not be "brand new" as you state. In fact it will be "NOS" with a likely minimum age of 17 years. Here is a NOS unit exactly like mine (which however is not available).

As a matter-of-fact and for reliability's sake, Steve (or anyone else whilst we are on the subject) is better off with the re-engineered, vastly more reliable and cheaper (gasp) Permatune box & coil unit as in the second image.

Sackey say as you may but I purchased 5 crates of BRAND NEW PARTS from a Lambo dealer that went out of business in the mid 90's. All parts are still in original Lamborghini bags.

No big deal to me if Steve is interested in the part or not i was just trying to help.

Between all of us Steve cant miss.

Im sure your parts are "New Old Stock" and that was my only point.

I commend you for having the foresight to get them, and the willingness to share them, which is whats most important. Bravo.

I have a '88 and the same ting happened to me. there is a fuse on top of the box mine is located on the right hand side under neith the vent on the rear fender. you have to take the vent off to get to. Try that see if the fuse is bkown or making proper conection. That fixed mine. I dont know of anyone that has a box. but you might try a guy named Chad Bolles 1-803-798-3044 he has some used parts for these things.
let me know if that helped.
    George
