    Hello Everyone,

I thought it would be fun to share the journey that started today with the new build of my custom titanium x-pipe exhaust for my 1986 Ferrari Testarossa Monospecchio.

You can follow Unobtainium Welding on instagram or visit their site to check out their work here : www.unobtainium.ca

The wait was well worth it to have Chris who is an artist when it comes to working on exhaust, headers and more for some of the nicest exotics out there.

I will update pictures of the journey as it's being built over the next couple of weeks.

The previous owner who was 81 years of age had the setup below, which had a much deeper sound and the bottom valence could not fit back on.

Who's excited to hear this when it's finished !

    cheers

I tried to find more custom
Titanium x-pipe exhaust videos online for the testarossa, but it seems to be hard to find.

Cool to see someone else go down this rabbit hole! It looks similar to mine. I just wanted to make the X-pipe modular, so I can tune the sound with different modular mufflers depending on how froggy I feel that day or not, lol. Here is a short video, I definitely need to upload some driving videos, it screams on the throttle.

    Beautiful!!

    I'm a big fan.
Ti is soo tough to work with. Hard to machine, picky to weld. Truly the work of a specialist craftsman!

Looks awesome , no mufflers or am I just not seeing it? For long drives it may be a consideration to have a cut-off valve and muffler plumbed in perhaps.

I seem to recall reports of Ti pipes cracking in the p-car world, I trust this specialist has the experience to get it right for longevity.
