hello, looking at a 87' 328 at autosports in hinsdale. what's up with the black body moulding extruding from the upper/lower body pannels? any 308/328 owners out there have this? thanks www.continentalautosports.com/ joe
Yeah, that doesn't look so attractive. I hope it can be easily removed with out damaging the car. I just saw that cool 456 convertible. That is nice!!! I bet I know someone who could make good use of that!!! (Frank, do you want to pool our money together and buy that one?)
WOW! Thats a steal of a deal, espeacially from a great dealer... I'm guessing a lot of stuff is missing, like past records, tools, ect... maybe has previous accident history too??? But if your looking for a good Ferrari to be a driving car, this is it... The 328 is a great car, mine has been running great, since i got everything fixed because the previous owner had it as a garage queen... As for those extrusions, they look like aftermarket things... Not that they would help against door dings, every car has different size doors and would end up hitting your door in different areas anyways....
I concur, that is a VERY cheap price from continental. They tend to be pricey. Has anyone seen this car? I am assuming it has to look quite worn, or there is something wrong with it. Lake Forest has a couple of 308's that are priced near this, and they aren't perfect either...
Those look like the body mouldings that are on the C4,(1984-96) Corvettes. More than likely not permanent, and can just be taken out. But,though it may look odd,I bet it saved many an errant door ding from happening. 2 Enzo's at Continental! Wow! Too bad,I'm a tad short on dough right now....
LOL! Yes,that would definitely be a really nice solution to our #2 Ferrari prospect/ problem....12 Cylinder,4 Seater...AND,fairly new.... (Mike and I both have a couple of Kids, for those that don't know. Except that he still has his Wife....I fed mine to some Pirahna's...)
Yeah, but don't forget. These are 20 Plus year old cars. Not a one will be "perfect" by now. Mine is turning 25 this January. Most (Non Ferrari Savvy) people think it is a Brand New Car! And,now that the 430 is out,I think that everything has moved down a notch to the next level. (Could that mean that 308's are the next Ferrari to start moving up? I don't know....How about 246 Dino's? The "Non Ferrari" or the "More Fiat than Ferrari",with the V6 engine. Sold for Under $20Grand when New, Dubbed as the "Poor Man's Ferrari". (Though,in my opinion, one of the most Beautiful, best looking, sexiest body styles ever) They are up to,and well past, the $100,000.00 Mark, depending on Condition. And,with the new "Magnum P.I." movie coming out sometime in the future....Who knows.....Even if he ends up driving a new Ferrari, instead of pulling the cover off of the old 308,and getting T.C. to come over and get it running. There will still be renewed interest in the original "Magnum P.I." series. And,those that were Teenagers back then, that lusted after that Red 308,(Like many of us... ) are now coming into age to finally get that Dream car.....
The 328 at Continental has a bad carfax (mileage). Of course, most low mileage 308/328's have probably had the mileage gimmicked too.
