No, didn't intend on flipping it when I bought it. I will say this. Buyer got the deal of the century as this was the best 3.2 I have ever seen. No deadbeat bidder, bought and paid for. Sold at exact price I paid, I probably could have made a huge profit but I have my eyes on the next chase. Ebay doesn't disclose accepted offers. I did OK not losing anything on it, and had a lot of fun with it. Call it an amicable divorce. LOL.
That was why I raised the question. But no objection to you turning a profit. I have seen more than 1 car sold by you as a member here and I have yet to hear any buyer complain about the condition of the vehicle received. So if you can make some $$$, pass on a nice car to a new owner and have some fun doing it, what's wrong with that? Regards, Jerry
Thanks Jerry, That's what my wife says all the time, I just don't have the "dealer" in me to try and make money on these, except for when I was selling my Testarossa 3 years ago when prices were going crazy. I made a nice profit which helped fund the next Mondial, the timing was incredible. In the end I am just as happy playing with them and breaking even is a plus for me.
I bought a 355 Spider from Stephane many years ago. Great car, nice deal. Hey Steph, the car after years of driving to an inch of its life never needed a valve job after all. The leakdown is now less than 5% all across.
