    I need a bit of help I am a first time Ferrari buyer not new to Exotics but Ferrari’s I have a line on a 1987 FERRARI MONDIAL CABRIOLET that I would have to re-import to the US The car was purchased in CA shipped to France and was never titled there. What should I look for in this car Pros/Cons and what would the approximate value be of this car here in the states.

    Any info would be of great help I am trying to get a friend to run a CarFax on the car since it’s a US car.

    Why import a Mondial? Isn't the dollar pretty weak against the Euro currently? Mondials are not that rare or pricey, so unless the deal equates to less than $25k US dollars....why bother?

    I just saw your posting.

    I hope you found out the car was a scam before you sent any money.

    I have talked to both Jeff AND the current owner who lives in LA. There is NO MONDIAL in France, at least not the one you are looking at.
