Is there a horse mech nearby that can do a ppi? Super interested please pm me a full history on the vehicle. Looking for a Thanksgiving red head
Great, thanks. Unfortunately, I don't think there is such a horse mechanic nearby, hence its travels to the lower MI dealer & OH. However, I can send you those records via email if you send your email address to me at [email protected]
Sorry, I can't find your email, so please send it again to me, at [email protected] or text 734.645.5778 and I will reply right away. Conrad
Was the front left wheel replaced during your ownership? Appears to be one of the aftermarket reproductions. Subtle differences but most notable would be it won't say ferrari on it.
xplodee: I just talked with the owner, for whom I am helping with the sale. Here's what he said: "I checked with Evans Automotive in Columbus (where the car got a major service) concerning the “odd “ wheel issue. On his first invoice page (see uploaded file here) you will see where the rims were refreshed and no mention of the unmarked front left. I talked to George Evens about this and he said ..” many times a wheel can be damaged by pot holes and he has seen many aftermarket rims replacing same. We both agreed that when the 2017 service was performed that rim was on the car prior to my purchase. I never changed any rims. I am not sure where the unmarked rim was produced although I will try to look on the inside portion probably tomorrow as I have a sick dog to tend too this afternoon.. Also keep in mind that I have put only 1,781 miles one the car since the first service after my purchase. The car has always been maintained in a heated garage with the rest of our collection and given as much TLC as any others". Regards, Conrad
That stinks, it definitely sounds like the shop damaged the wheel and pulled a fast one. Regardless the car looks great and it's an honest asking price given the mileage/condition.
If it was done by a shop I don’t think it would have been Evans. They are a top notch shop with a great reputation dating back decades. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I agree its not a big deal at all and this car is nice and I support his price etc. Just odd to hear a ferrari fan say its odd to expound upon when we know how meticulous ferrari buyers like us are about all kinds of things. A mismatched wheel is not a big deal but relevant. and given his price etc still perfectly ok.
