Idle is a bit loud for me but sounds good at WOT. Glad you like it, your enthusiasm is palpable.

Does the fabricator work on all makes/models of cars? The fabrication quality looks amazing... would love to see what he can do on another vehicle

yessir he does. Check out @thels4king on instagram and @builtbyfurches, the latter being the new brand he created for working on non-LS4 cars. He does lots of work on LS engines in general including turbos etc. Very talented guy.

Sounds good. What size is the 4-1 merge pipe?

OMD made equal length downpipes for my 575M with a merge (2" primary to 2.5" collectors to 2.75" X and back to 2.5" to the tips). Equal length really cleans up the sound compared to the unequal length options.

It is equal length collectors from the headers into a 4-1 merge that outputs to 3" then it is three 3" runs from there, one directly into the muffler (and two out), and two directly to individual tips.

Thanks. I checked his instagram and web site but saw no location noted. I wonder if he can build and ship since he has done a couple other TRs already...

Greetings.. Not wring video. It shows how she sounds riding second gear. Exhaust is free flowing and she sings. The clip of that custom exhaust did not sound like she was singing. It was missing the nice vocal tone. Play video with headphones and turn up volume. I know I'm partial because it was my car but there is a certain tone that can be achieved that can make her really sing. This custom set up in my opinion lacks that. Unsure why

frankly, its almost impossible to judge these things unless you hear it from inside the car itself. these videos almost always never do the exhausts justice.

Exactly. Personally I can vouch that I've never heard any exhaust sing the way this one does. It starts around 4800RPMs and then it just goes. Every serious car friend I've had drive in it with me loves it, including one who used to own a 2011 458, which apparently means it had a louder exhaust with more cracks and pops than later models? Anyway, he says this car at this point sounds better than his 458 did.

2010 for 458 is the only year with cracks and pops they changed I believed the ECU starting 2011 and it stopped doing it

Hey Robbie! It has been a while. Mine is bone stock. But approaching 50K miles I thought about giving her a little kick in the arse and waking her up a little. Don't mind the quiet for cruising on the highway but when out enjoying the twisties I might like a little more squeal from the girl...

Agreed 100%. Your tube videos and phone clips are tough to use for judging actual sound. With so few TRs out there being enjoyed (even though they made SOOOO many of them ;)) it is tough to find options to hear with your own ears.

I'm in the Lehigh Valley so between MD and NYC, if you ever head up to the city you could coordinate with me to hear my system.
