1988 Ferrari 328 GTS for auction - under 10k miles!

Its like being married to Raquel Welch and not sleeping with her for 40 years.

 

Was advertised for sale in Italy April 2016 with 9500 kms on the odometer (Which was in kilometers, as it is an "euro" 328; 9.500 kms is a tad less than 6.000 miles)

- a chassis number “post #77000” so as to have been delivered “about” August 1988 or after (Enzo Ferrari’s death, start of speculation).

Is it known if 82933 was a GTS or GTB?

I own 1989 GTS #82914 (Assembly line date of Aug 1988). Now at 21k miles, it's not a "time capsule", but still in outstanding condition. Knowing F's VIN system was not sequential within specific models, mine could have been on the boat with the last batch of 328s produced destined for the US. That's kinda cool.

 

Yes it is known: 82933 is a GTS, confirmed.
The last GTB produced for the US market, and imported in the US is well known, it is 82906 (Verde Scuro / Chocolate (dashboard) / Beige (seats) )
The "tail end" of the 328 production was almost only GTSs. I have only two confirmed GTBs after 82906: both "Japanese market" models: 82963 and 83017, which is confirmed as the last "Berlinetta" built. The last "Euro" GTB could be 82873.
Last of the 328 line is 83136, a "swiss-market" model GTS.
