Fastidiously maintained, low mileage (30,045 mi.), Nero black over tan, Ferrari 328 GTS. The condition is as new with exquisite original paint and absolutely no door dings or scratches. Inside, the dash is perfect and the seat bolsters are in excellent condition. The car is complete with all books, tools, and fully documented service history. The 30k. mile service has been completed and the car runs great. Maintenance has been performed by a local renowned Ferrari expert. The 30k. mile major service has been completed and the car is in top shape mechanically. I have been told and truly believe that the Ferrari 328 model offers the signature, visceral, Ferrari driving experience, in terms of incredible balance, superb engine sound, and performance, at a fraction of the ownership costs associated with the more modern Ferraris counterparts, such as the F355 or 360. I am located in Northern California about 15 minutes from the San Francisco Airport. (650)483-656(seven)

Just curious about something here (sorry, I'm not interested in buying the car, as I have one). I noticed that the leather around the center console switches is a lighter color than the surrounding area. My car, with tan interior, has exactly the same coloring. Someone told me that part of mine must have been replaced and doesn't match, but I don't think it was ever replaced. Was it an option to have this 2-tone leather or was it altered in this car as well? It could be just the picture, but it does look like 2 different shades.

Thank you to anyone that might know.

I figured I'd post this in case anyone was wondering the same thing as me. I just spoke with the seller today and the car apparently sold a while ago. He got very close to his asking price, so chalk that up as another data point in the actual 328 market.

With that, my hunt for a well sorted 328 continues (similar to the one in this thread). If anyone knows of a good one out there, please feel free to drop me a PM or email me at mccarthy_sean at yahoo dot com. I prefer a non-ABS car (pre 1988.5) with under 30K miles (I'm flexible on that as long as the car is "dialed in"). The car must be current on service and have a well documented maintenance history. I'm also flexible on color, but if I had my choice, grigio grey would be the cat's meow!

Hope no one thinks I'm hi-jacking this thread as it was pretty much dead.

You know that none of the 88.5 cars have ABS, right? Only the '89s do, even though they share the same modern suspension geometry with the 88.5 cars.

All my research led me to believe that 1988.5 and newer 328's had ABS . . . hence the convex wheels. If that's not the case, then I learned something new today.

That said, it's not the ABS that I don't like, but rather the convex wheels. I prefer the look of the concave wheels which is why I am searching for a car older than 1988.5. I've been told by other Ferrari chatters that you can't fit the concave wheels on an ABS car, otherwise I'd open my aperture to include the later model cars and just switch the wheels if it came to that.

The convex wheels are not for the ABS but rather for the upgraded antidive suspension. Only the 89's have actual ABS. The 88.5 do not but they do have the newer suspension and the convex wheels. Everything else you have there, like you can't put concave on the newer suspension cars, is correct.
