Hey guys, been on here for a while however just been a silent member. Anyways, my dad and I have been accumulating too many cars so we've decided to start moving a few between us and one of them is a red over tan 328GTS in excellent condition.

    • Mileage = 17,533 (not exact exact but close enough)
    • Euro side mirrors & red spoiler instead of black
    • Completely new interior, seats, console, doors, carpets, targa top liner, and even all the fabric around the rear window which is damn hard to replace. Car didn't really need all new interior but we thought it deserved it since the exterior was in top condition.
•*Well kept & serviced with recent records from Norwood here in Dallas.
    • Does have the convex wheels yet this is a 1988 GTS and not 1989 with ABS so I figure it was produced during the switch to from concave to convex.
    • Car was purchased from previous owner here in Dallas so it's rust free and he had also kept it in an air protected bubble, pretty impressive track record of being taken care of.

Anyways, we're entertaining letting this one go along with a really nice 1997 355 GTB that also has less than 20,000 miles on it so please let me know if anyone is interested in additional details and cars to discuss the price which will be at the upper end of the market. Both cars sound and drive awesome. This is actually my first post on here so hopefully I got it all right but let me know if I've missed something. I can email more pictures over as the compression on the ones listed here look rather poor in quality.

    Thanks, Clay

Your taillights are flipped. Any reason the orange lights are on the inside?

They are not supposed to be on the inside. So when some people see a car for sale with them flipped they think maybe the car has had significant body work perhaps due to an accident.

Great catch....orange should be on the outside.

However...looking through pics on google images...it appears most have the orange on the outside but there are some 308/328's with the orange on the inside. I wonder why the difference?

    Great looking car though!

I guess during a repaint, sometimes the person reassembling the car doesn't remember/know what the correct orientation is.

I pointed that out to a person selling a car in Montreal (same issue), next ad had the lights corrected. Most people wouldn't notice.

    Nice pics BTW.

Then there are some people that do it on purpose because they feel it looks better.

Everyone, thanks for all the comments and everything. Sorry for the late response here as I should have known better than to post an ad right before going into a holiday weekend... been playing catchup in the office and everything today plus getting back to all the inquires and such.

In regards to the orange lights being placed on the inside of the vehicle I must admit I don't have an answer for this one although it can't be because of a repaint as this vehicle was never repainted. If anyone has an explanation for this one I'd love to know the reasoning... only thing I can imagine is that since it has the euro side view mirrors and red spoiler which I believe is also a euro trait then that could have something to do with the rear light placement.

For those wanting to know the VIN#: ZFFXA20A4J0077652

I also have the full carfax sheet on it so if anyone cares to see it please just PM me with your email and I'll send it over.

In regards to service history. This vehicle is a 3rd owner vehicle with service records dating back to when the second owner first got the vehicle in 2003 with all work being done by Norwood Performance here in Dallas and Norwood still continues to do all the service. A complete cam belt service was done in February of 2013 by Norwood Performance in Dallas with 17,120 miles on the clock.

The vehicle shifts smooth through all gears and the suspension and steering are tight with as new with absolutely no drift or play. The toolkit is complete and in new condition and the vehicle has never seen rain sleet or snow. The paint and everything is all original minus the all new interior on the vehicle which was professionally redone. Also had the stereo speakers and stereo unit redone during the interior process while the door panels where off the vehicle.

I can post photos of the interior of the vehicle prior to it being redone so everyone gets a feel for the condition of the car prior to new interior.

I think someone had asked about the interior and the condition of it prior to being redone so I've attached photos showing the Before & After. It wasn't in bad condition or need to be redone but speaking personally it also wasn't exactly the most desired look. While the exterior couldn't get any better it was thought that the interior could be better, that's all.

By the VIN, that's a US model.

The rear storage is illuminated by a pair of lenses from the inner pair of lights (running lights).
If you have the wiring reversed as well as the lenses, then your trunk will only be lit when you're in reverse. ;)

Very interesting... I'll have to test that out. I'm a pretty detail oriented person & can't believe I've never noticed the rear light arrangement differences. Thanks!

Ok guys, I've finally scanned & put all the records for this vehicle into one big PDF. If anyone's interested in the history of the car please let me know and send me your email and I'll shoot it over. FYI, this car was never repainted but bulbs got replaced in 2004 which at that time I believe the rear lights got switched around cause in one of the previous records with photos from 2003 the vehicle shows to have the rear lights in the correct order. First owner was in Arizona. I'm officially needing to make room for another car since yesterday's purchase of a 1979 308GTS with euro front end that's Yellow.

Pic attached of first signature document. Anyways, had a lot of interest and if I've missed following up with you please reach out to me again as I had a busy week last week and have lost track with all the PMs.

Hey guys, sorry I've been out of touch. Amazing the number of inquiries that came in thru the holidays. In any case, I've decided to hold onto the car for the time being. I'll look to update the post so it no longer shows as available.
