    Makes sense - the knock offs do look good and are more classic however they are hard to get on and off for the average joe at the side of the road. Looks like a great car. I own mine to drive. If investing, I would be a buyer (sure it is great to drive I just do not need another). Mid engine, V12, same platform as F40, 25 years old, seems poised to appreciate.

    Wow, that appears to be great value for such a beautifully presented TR.

    And the interior color scheme (tabacco on chocolate?) is gorgeous in my eyes.

    Purpose of the law…

    Stop private ('grey slip') imports which were predominantly from Japan, which in 1989 started manufacturing models such as the 300zxTT, Skylne GTR TT, Supra TT, etc. Often highly modified, many imports were rockets on 4 wheels.
