    Hiya fellas,
I have an 89 Mondial T i was brought, with the right side bank out. I have NO spark and no Injector pulse. Additionally, the STOP 1-4 lamp does NOT illuminate on the instrument panel. I have replaced a couple of blown fuses, as well as swapped the E.C.U. from side to side. I transplanted a known good Ignition Coil and Module, as well as replaced both crank sensors as the ones removed were of dubious condition.

I believe I am not getting either power out or a ground out for the E.C.U to operate the right side of the engine If anyone can help me with a color pin out of the right E.C.U connector and where the appropriate powers and grounds are located, and anything else I may be missing, I would greatly appreciate the help. THE WSM wiring diagrams leave a lot to be desired.

Anyone have any kind of idea? I'm also trying to find the pinout for the right Motronic connector.

Do the fuses blow when you replace them?

Right now, all fuses are intact. Oddly now, the vehicle doesn't run at all now, where as before it ran on the left bank.
I show NO injector pulse on either side of the motor. coil gets power as does the ignition modules. (they have been replaced with OEM BOSCH modules).

I am trying to determine what powers what here, as even in the passenger footwell, the items shown in the wiring section of the WSM are not quite right, there's no board in the passenger footwell with fuses and relays, just a few connectors bolted to the floor and 2 modules and 1 relay on the back of the footwell panel (one being for the suspension which is unplugged)

    Bump

Still trying to sort this vehicle out. Vehicle cranks, tach bounces with the key on but NOT cranking. Not really sure what's going on with this vehicle. Really could use some assistance

Check the crank sensor connectors, mine were trashed, plastic had decayed. bottom of engine, easy to check

I guess there is a reason why the several fuses are blown :) which fuses were blown? Usually this happens when they fiddled around with the wiring, added electrical components or that wiring is rubbing against something and the harness got damaged.

Just a thought on your first comment. Somewhere the voltage feed comes from one point and splits to the 2 ECUs. One is working and one not you mentioned. When you switch the ECUs does the problem move to the other bank? If so, the problem is in your ECU if not then the wiring before the ECU is perhaps not feeding.

Just out of curiosity, did you buy the Mondial like this? Nevertheless congrats on this beauty!

    Hiya fellas,
    So, just to update things...

This Mondial has led a very, shall we say, less than pampered life. It sits outside a great deal. There are many rust areas. But I'll cut to the chase. After replacing several fuses and testing various components based on several posts i have found on this amazing forum (ours). it all led back to the right side MAF. The connector was missing it's locking wire and was making poor contact, not to mention the bad corrosion within both ends. Cleaned them up and installed a lock wire I purchased for $3 and Voila, it works as it should.

Thanks for all the help you have given to me.

    Best regards,
    Leigh
