One year ago I purchased a "well sorted" 1990 348ts with 37k miles from a respected guy on Fchat. The car had a recent belt service at the time of purchase and passed the PPI with flying colors. During the last year I've put over 5k (SoCal) miles on it. A couple of issues I've delt with includes circa 90's Cats and associated CELS. On average I've spent about $1.75 per mile in maintenance. As a first time Ferrari owner I knew it would not be cheap. I love my car!

Actually that would be closer to $9,000 ($8750 to be precise).

So, OP, what exactly cost you $8,750 that wasn't a major service?

    Per his other posts
Maintenance work done to sort out check engine light and idle issues. IE. Fuel pressure regulators, ECU's, O2 sensors, fuel injector service, 26 year old Cats. Work done at a reputable shop,

Gas for 5K miles in CA probably cost a pretty penny, too.

c7Matt is correct. Also included wheel spacers, door lock repair, fuel, and the cost of one year of insurance.
