Was fortunate to acquire a 39k mile 348 this past April. Knew what I was getting into and would like to share some of my experiences. I've driven the car apoximately 2000 miles (and have had a blast). The Yellow CEL's haven't been kind. I don't have the codes handy but can tell you that the codes and my experienced mechanic 's "detective work" have led me to O2 sensor replacements, fuel Injector overhauls, MAF rebuilds and fuel regulator replacements. Hoping I can experience some prolonged enjoyment with out "my little yellow friends". Again, I knew what I was getting into with the "new system" Ferrari went with with the 348. The noticeable issues I experienced with the yellow CEL's were slight rough idle at cold start and ocassional at warm/ hot. The needle would bounce below 1000 rpms to around 800. Since Its my first Ferrari I didn't want to do more damage and really wanted it to run perfect. One more observation, I've never had a red/slow down light or loss of power. And all temp Gage's have always been normal. Are there any other 348 (or for that matter 355) owners in a simular (frustrating) situation?? Thanks, Brian

I was fortunate to, to buy my first Ferrari (348) this past november.
Had to do a lot of maintenance, clutch, flywheel rebuild, brakediscs, brakepads, engine starter, all fluids, filters etc. Love the driving. Did about 2.500 km this year.

Did not had many problems with it. My rpm needle jumps from 5.000 to 7.000 rpm,
while full trottle, but I quess that's not such a big of a deal with these old cars.

Planning on an engine out, belt service next winter.
