I don't think it's a formula. Seen 30k cars with issues bad ones, and read of 80k cars with no issues. Poor maintenance and oil management can cause issues at any mileage. Sent from my LM-Q710(FGN) using FerrariChat.com mobile app

that thing is rough. For the money it would take to get it back to "right", you could purchase one "right" to begin with.
It is very subjective indeed, not sure how I fee about wrong door panels, mismatched carpet, shrunken carpet, corrosion evident without looking too hard. Almost seems like a water damage issue. All that said I still love the color combo!
Probably loved at some stage but the last owner clearly didn’t. Who the hell would chrome the rims!!! If it has a good service history most of what you see could just be cosmetic; but you would need to do a very thorough inspection to be sure you were not buying into a money put.
Was the chrome rims thing an option? Eddie Van Halen's had chrome rims. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Totally an late 80's early 90's thing, made things look more luxurious before people realized race cars were not chromed, rolls royce's were then it became tacky. Remember 944's and 928's with chrome phone dial wheels, ya that was the height of luxury then along with an Amex card and a mobile phone. "geez he even has chrome wheels he must really be rolling in it!"
Agree...looks horrible. I even generally dislike polished wheels as they are rather chromy looking as well. But honestly, these days I almost hate black wheels just as much. Those things jumped the shark years ago. Luckily the wrong wheels is an easy fix.
Just curious, I know where this car is and I believe they want around $50,000 for it. Has anybody ever put eyes on it? I really like the color, you just don't see it that often.
