Always have thoughts of selling my Jarama GT and buying a Diablo. The Jaramas are a VERY special GT but the Diablo is brutal and still pure.
Wow, what a beauty. I recently bought my 91' with the same specs as this one from Cats Exotics, and it was a flawless transaction. If anyone is looking for the early Diablo, I recommend jumping on this one before it's too late. Great potential investment in my opinion.
I'd really like to own a 91 Diablo someday soon. I remember when they came out in 91, I was in 6th grade. I went to our local dealership one day soon after they launched. (Criswell at the time) They were hosting an open house of sorts, and an older gentleman who I didn't know took the time to show me around the car. Amongst the crowds of onlookers, he pullled me aside and let me sit in one. At that point in my life, it was the coolest car I'd ever been near, much less sat it. He gave me a gold Lamborghini lapel pin, which I still have today. A few moments later, the receptionist came over the PA system and said, "Mr. Balboni, you have a call on line 2". He excused himself to go take the call. It wasn't till years later that I put it all together, and realized who that nice man was.
Love these cars but I think the more brutal colors of black and/or dark blue and/or dark gray do them much more justice!
At some point the collector market will look back and regret not jumping in at these prices, especially on great examples like this one and your black 91.
GOOD deal IMO i think so few of these early diablos are still in so unmolested conditions. so worth to buy a nice one now Many have been modified or "upgraded" to later car specs (SV, GT, 6.0 "lookalikes")
1991 Lamborghini Diablo Lynnwood WA 19650620 is up on my site as of now..what a PURE CLEAN as it left the factory car, with such low miles and ALL the extras that came with it. When was the last time you saw an ORIGINAL window sticker for a 1991 Diablo...I dont think I ever have! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Unbelievable to think that this virtually new car is priced less than when new in 1991 ($239K). If my math is correct, that was probably $425K in today's money, so the car is priced at nearly 60% off!! One day we will regret it
