Hi, I have a 91 Mondial t for a little over a year now, I bought it with 5,500 miles, and now I have 9,600 miles. I've been experiencing my dash board lights flickering, dimming hi & lower, and then out altogether and then back on. Recently, they are going out imediatley after turning the lights on, and are staying out now for longer periods off time. Everything that is controled by the instrument panel rheostat is affected. this has been happening on and off for months Now.

I am also experiencing my "slow down 5-8" light coming on, twice now both times at about three miles into my drive, it would come on and flashes and then stall out, it started up both times, and I would be able to drive it with the light flashing, and then eventually go out altogether, the car would run just fine, after it originaly stalls. Today I drove 30 miles wit no incedent.

Any ideas, would be greatly apperciated.

Are you having your Mondial service at aFerrari dealer, or somewhere independent? Even with only 9k miles on the car, it would need a 30k mile service? What do you think a major service will cost?

while it coud be many things on any given car..on mine I took it to WWoC and they simply repalced the thermocoupler sensor and have'nt had a problem since...
as for mechanics, as mentioned, there are a huge selection od both dealers and indys. let us know what part of the island you r on and I can help narrow it down

I have not used them but they were reccomended to me as very good and I think they are out your way...let em know your exp. as I might try them as well! I have been using a guy in Stamford, CT lately.

Joe Serrillo 1-718-946-7586 or Gino 1-516-759-0681 (might be closer to you, I think)
