    I am wondering if there is a list of 91 TR vins. I have a customer that is getting ready to sell his and he has told me it is the last one made. I just want o verify that or at least see how close to the end it is. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    My 91 Euro is 91626. Wait a sec, I thought mine was the last one made...

    Ok; my first post here. ;-)

    The VIN on my (Euro)Testarossa says 91915. Should really be one of the last which left the factory....

    I know of at least two Testarossas with slightly higher s/ns than yours (one also in Austria, the other in Switzerland), but you are right that yours is amongst the very last.

    I will try and get the vin asap. The guy lives on a mountain. My dad took a pic of the vin but he not sure he can read it. If not he'll go back and write it down.

    The last 5 of this serial number is 92085. The pics show testarossa right on the rear of the car but that serial number seems to indicate a 512TR. I am going to try and see the car myself in person in the next couple weeks.

    92085 is indeed a 512 TR. Full VIN should be ZFFLG40A6N0092085.

    THe first 512 s/n is definitely wrong unless it was a test mule or show car that was built when Testarossas were still rolling out of the factory, mine is 90048 and it was built in May of 1991 now if I am wrong then maybe I need to change the rear badge and my depreciation wasn't as bad as I thought :) :) :)

    The s/n of the first 512 TR is correct. In fact, there are even earlier 512 TRs, but those are really prototypes: s/n 86815 and 87440, which both are in the US and were for sale a couple of years ago.

    The normal production of the 512 TR started slowly in April 1991. For a long period they built the Testarossa and the 512 TR simultaneously and they were stocking the 512 TRs. The first cars (mainly US versions) went to clients in December 1991, so that they could be delivered just after the official presentation, in January 1992 in Los Angeles.

    I think with the above posts you guys have assured that the car in question is a 512TR but just to add info, my '92 512 was built in Oct. 1991 and is no. 91714.
