    Greetings,

I am looking to buy an owner's manual for my 1991 TR. Publication Number 634/90 for US Version 1991 Model Year. I have the PDF in a notebook, but I want to get an original to sit in its Schedoni Leather Pouch with the other booklets that I have.

    Thanks,

    Mark

I have an owners manual collection. Most came from Ebay. Ferrari Literature .Com is another source. 91 TR was never meant to be built. It was a last minute deal (even then was only a 49 state car) and the owners manuals are a little hard to find. It is functionally exactly the same as a 90 manual.

    Greetings,
OK, that would explain why they appear to be hard to find. I was really hoping to get one to complete the records for the car.

I purchased the 634/90 OM (1991 US TR) shortly after I purchased my 1991 US TR -- but that was decades ago, and I sent it along with the car when I sold it. I can confirm Brian's point as my 1991 US TR was originally delivered from Algar with the 536/88 OM (1989 US TR) with a one-page insert titled Changes for M.Y. 1991 in the front pouch of the OM (and the changes are just for the VIN label and a couple of emission labels) -- so would be absolutely "correct" for a 1991 US TR. If interested in this, sent me a PM -- otherwise, it's off to FChat Classifieds or eBay ;).

This I did not know, so does that mean the 512TR was late?

    Hi Steve,

PM sent. I was looking at the warranty booklet and it is a "1990" version so the 91 model years appears to be an odd duck as it were. So, it does beg to ask the question, was the 512TR a year late?

512 was delayed because Bosch had not yet finalized the Motronic 2.7 engine management system. The 512 parts manual says 1991 Testarossa on the front. California had made OBD a requirement for 1991 and TR was not OBD compliant. At the time California was buying over 1/3 of all new Ferraris and for 1991 all they had to sell were Mondial, 348 and F40.

Many thanks to Steve Magnusson! I got the owner's manual today and it is in superb condition. It has assumed its position in the Schedoni Leather Pouch next to the warranty card.

    Thanks again,

    Mark
