    A rare car is up for sale. It has some JDM stuff on it like the TOMEI engine but it's a really nice example.

    Nice Car, but not a real one I think. Only 2 LM Versions are built. Totip and Repsol!

    The base for this car, the 348, first debuted in Frankfurt in 1989.
    Pininfarina imagined the elegant body, a total redesign based on the 308 and 328.
    The large side air-intakes are reminiscent of the Testarossa.
    This particular unit features a Tomei engine and Bechtel 32-bit computer.
    It boasts a 3.7L engine featuring Pankl conn-rods, giving it an output of over 400ps.

    This unit has been modified to have a direct ignition, and features Alcon MMC brakes. The wire shift linkage has been replaced with an LM shaft linkage.
    The original pedal box has been replaced with a Michelotto Twin Master, and the exterior also features Michelotto parts, including its front bumber-spoiler, doors, acrylic windows, and tail grill.
    The original wheels have been replaced with NEEZ lightweight magnesium wheels, and a carbon rear-wing has been added.
    This stripped-down model is ready to show its prowess on the circuit.

    Yes beautiful car but I think it's somewhat mis-represented as LM.
    It's not a factory LM, that's clear.
    It's not even clear the base is competitzione.
    They DID add quite a few nice bits, but originality is not there.
    A sort of 348 outlaw LM-style... quite tasty given some other Japanese tuning acts. But I doubt anyone would pay anything near an LM price.
