Hello, I am trying to get myself my first Ferrari either a 400i manual or an early Testarossa, but i need to sell my Lancia first. Cant maintaine two Italian cars lol More info and pics are in the link, any questions let me know. 1992 lancia delta Integrale EVO for sale I purchased the car from Tokyo, Japan. It had one Tokyo owner. I imported the car last year. The Lancia only has 45,000 documented KM on it. It was serviced in Tokyo by Garage Italia, one of the premier shops in Tokyo. I have all service records, Japanese tittle, export documents, import documents, customs documents, pictures of the car in Tokyo; even some GPS screen shots of the ship the car was on in the ocean, and in the port of Vancouver. I tracked the ship from Japan to Vancouver. More importantly the car is fully registered in Ontario, with Ontario ownership and is fully insured with Hagerty Classic car insurance. Now about the car: The Lancia is the first generation of EVO models, and the last Lancia built to be rallied by the factory. The car has a pretty rare combination of options. Perforated black leather Recaro seats (super super comfy and MINT), and ice cold working a/c. the car does NOT have a sunroof. Everything on the car works from the fog lights, to the A/C, instrument cluster light, dome light, speedo, tach, all gauges, even the power antenna still goes up and down perfectly. All glass on the car is %100 original Lancia factory glass with no scratches or chips. Factory spare tire, tool kit and jack in the proper pouch. The engine bay is clean, the under carriage is clean, and there are zero leaks, and zero smoke. The only aftermarket part on the car is a Samco silicone intake hose. The body is completely rust free. The paint is very shiny and nobody can believe the car is a 1992. It does have some very light scratches, but I am going to do a full detail soon and most should be gone. I was going to have the wheels refinished as they show some wear on the lips. If you want that done before you pick up the car we can talk about including it. The interior is in superb shape with just minor minor wear. There are no tears, rips or stains on the seats. All bolsters are very firm. One very cool thing is the factory plastic still covers the carpet! I will include the following spare parts that i ordered from England (almost $1000) - 5 L of OEM spec Telluta ZC90 transmission fluid - 3 UFI oil filters - 4 brand new wheel center caps - Timing belt and balancer belt - New HF fender badges (although they might be on the car by the time you see it) - Air filter - Cabin filter - Rotor -distributor cap I have installed a new fuel filter, new rear brake pads, fresh fluids, and distributor cap (the one on the car was white, I put a correct black one on). The car is kept in the garage on a battery tender. If you have wanted an EVO Delta now is your chance to have one of the best. And the only one for sale in North America right now. The only thing I would be interested in trading towards is an early Ferrari Testarossa, Ferrari 400i with a manual transmission, Ferrari 348 challenge or Special, 355, or 328. If the Lancia does not sell I am more than happy to keep her so no low balls as I won’t even bother replying. I am asking $40,000 obo, The car is located in Brampton, Ontario, Cananda. The car will not leave until funds have been %100 cleared by the bank. I can trailer the car to you, if you are farther away you pay for my diesel. Image Unavailable, Please Login
price is $40,000 Canadian, located just north of Toronto, in Ontario, Canada. It's not 25 years old yet, so it cant be registered in the US. I can cross the boarder with it so you can take delivery, but you cant legally register it for 2 more years. I updated the main post with all the info
These are such great cars. It's a shame we were deprived of them in the US because of our we-know-better-than-you nannies. I plan to get one of these when they hit the magic 25.
Your car is on BAT now. That will get you a lot of interest. I seriously doubt you'll still have it in 2017!
open to offers, everyone loves it, now i jsut need someone to spit out some cash haha You US guys can import it for Show and Display http://www.nhtsa.gov/cars/rules/import/
The Lancia is not on the Show & Display approved list. A one-off application to import it under this rule is unlikely to be approved, as the car does not meet the criteria in terms of production numbers, historical significance, etc...
i think it would if someone tired. Nissan skylines where brought over under the show and display rule, there is one on Ebay now. If someone wanted to try i would help them out with what ever they needed, no money up front only pay and collect the car if it gets approved. Here are the requirments In determining whether a vehicle is eligible for importation for show or display, NHTSA will consider the following factors, among others: 1. Whether a vehicle of the same make, model, and model year was manufactured and certified for sale in the United States. 2. Whether a vehicle of the same make, model, and model year has been determined eligible for importation pursuant to 49 CFR Part 593. 3. Whether the vehicle is currently in production. 4. Whether more than 500 of the vehicles were produced. 5. Whether the vehicle is a kit car, replica, or special construction vehicle. If the answer to any of the above is affirmative, you should not expect NHTSA to grant permission for importation. If the answer to item 4 is affirmative, the applicant must establish that the vehicle is of exceptional technological and/or historical significance. I am sure you could make a case.
There are at least a dozen Deltas less than 25 years old registered for the street in the US. Driving it across the border and leaving it here for someone to trailer to carshows and track until it is easier to register legally for street is also possible.
Love it! This guy provides the framework for your letter to USDOT! [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PI--8IH5XJw]Lancia Delta Integrale Evo II | evo DIARIES - YouTube[/ame]
"unlikely" ..."dosent have historical" significance"? you must be joking. a 6 consecutive world rally championships icon that was never imported here but a pair of 993s made the list? ive been in an R32 here in the states which is on the list. they built over 70,000 early GTRs apparently btw verse less than 10,000 evo integrals. Perhaps your views on the evo would change if you have driven one. zc911.. best of luck with the sale
