I own a 1992 Pininfarina but it's not a Ferrari. Still kinda rare. Production totaled 1,931 of which many were hardtop convertibles. Mine just a plain ole rag top. I have no idea how many of those were made or how many are left. I would think less than half of the total production number. *shrug*
Anyway...I drive mine often. It's great fun.

It sounds to me that your car is not a Pininfarina, but instead a 1992 cadillac Allante that was designed by Pininfarina and the bodies were built by Pininfarina, but the motors and rest of the components were installed by GM here in the US. As such, this was termed the world's largest assembly line. The car is sharp and my Dad owned a 1993 Allante for a few years. Congrats on the car, but I think there are way over half of them still on the road. They built over 20k Allante's total from 1987-1993.

PS If I am wrong on the car you actually own please post some pics, but all the specs you posted match the Cadillac.

Was it 1992 that they went to the Northstar Engine in the Allante?

My first car was a 1977 Fisher. :)

It had a 400 ci V8 developing 200hp and a PosiTrac rear end!
It wasn't exactly rare, but just as Tom Selleck made the 308 famous on TV, Burt Reynolds made this Fisher famous in a movie! :D

Sad, that was one of the best looking (production) Caddies ever made.

ok ok...it's a Cadillac! With an Italian body. Y'all wouldn't believe how much I paid for it (nothing). I said for years I didn't want it. After a couple years I agreed that I had some room in my garage and there it sat until I decided that it was a shame to just leave it sitting alone like that so...I drove it and I liked it but I had always said...WTF!? it's a front wheel drive "roadster"? That's kinda retarded. Here's another bizarre thing...it was the most expensive car ever made in the U.S. at that time (1992). Really...the car never made any sense no matter how you look at it. Still fun to drive though. I'm glad I got it out. And also...thank god for the traction control! The weight distribution is completely out of order.

So do you like your car, or do you hate it?

And why the cut/paste job of the car's details but not the make/model?
