1993 BMW Jet Black with black leather interior 850Ci. This vehicle is a three professional owner example with NO accident history, non-smoker, garage kept example with a clean Car Fax. I purchased this car earlier in the year from a doctor who was the 2nd owner who had owned the car for 11 years driving just 20K miles in that time. He had purchased the car from the original owner (another doctor) who had driven the vehicle just 12K miles in the 10 years he had owned it.

As I have just purchased a new toy, I no longer have the garage space for the 850Ci. I have the original window sticker and all books along with all service records for the vehicle from new with the following most recent/major service:

    • New AFM and Throttle Body Motor at 20,062 miles ($1,971.35)
    • New O2 sensors at 20,495 miles ($426.40)
    • New Fuel Sending Unit at 21,117 ($803.15)
    • New power steering hoses, coolant expansion tank and speed sensor at 22,387 miles ($1243.21)
    • New brake accumulator at 24,792 miles ($475.63)
    • New Brake Booster, Master Cylinder & Proportioning valve at 27,002 ($3,452.07)
    • New upper and lower control Arms, bushings, tie rods and idler arm at 28,145 miles ($2,131.04)
    • New auxiliary water pump at 28,441 miles ($446.56)
    • Four new Bridgestone Potenza tires at 29,776 ($1,073.90)
    • Full service/inspection including belts and fluids at 32,415 ($500.00)
    • New front & rear slotted/drilled rotors with hawk performance pads (not installed) (1,150.00)
    • Wokke performance chips installed at 34,000 miles (750.00)

The car is in exceptional condition both inside and out and barely shows a scratch or ding. The black leather interior is gorgeous with the leather soft and supple with no rips, cracks or tears. With this vehicle always being garage kept and owned by non-smokers, you can be assured that this is one of the nicest examples out there that not only boasts low miles, but has ALL the service and inspection history since new. This car has been well cared for from day one by its discerning owners and it shows… The car needs nothing and you can be assured that the car can be driven across country with the upmost confidence.

The car will be sold as a Private Party sale with no warranty implied or written and the buyer will receive all books, records and service history along with three keys and two factory remotes for the factory keyless entry. Please feel free to contact me with any questions regarding this sale.

You would be hard pressed to find a nicer, better maintained example with such an attractive asking price of only $21,995.

The 850 is under rated and simply fantastic. Super smooth V12.

Not with 34K miles, condition, color and all service history. The sister car just sold on eBay for over 23K and had slightly higher mileage. They are selling in the teens with 80K - 100K mileage and no service history (even with crappy colors)...

I owned one of these a few years ago. Great driving car but it made my Ferrari maintenance look cheap

I was kind of put off by the asking price until I saw the mileage. What a chance to buy an nearly new example of the car! Very close to the end of the model run. It's an auto box, oh well. Parts can be ridiculous but there are a lot of shared E38 (7 series pieces). The V-12 is really 535 6's joined (smaller displacement though). Everything is double in the engine bay. This car will run on 6 cylinders in limp home mode, like our 348's. One of the only make/models that does this. However tune ups are also twice as expensive as for an E34 535i.

This is a great example for someone wanting this model. I know I like it. The year after this we got the 850CSi and those are going for huge bucks right now. GLWTS. Hope it goes to an enthusiast.

The 850CSI is essentially the "M" version of the 8-series (E31). It is powered by a M derived V-12 that produced 375hp as opposed to the 850ci's 322hp. The suspension was different, the fenders were a tad bit wider and the front and rear fascia were different from the standard car's. This car also came standard with multi piece "lightweight" wheels and a bunch of other little things here and there. oh, and they only came with a 6-speed manual. I personally have one now and I absolutely love it but like previously stated, maintenance is very "ferrariesque" when it comes to costs.

I owned one of these and they are simply amazing cars. To say the V12 is smooth is an understatement. I sold mine to make room in the garage for the M5, but wish every day that I had kept it.
