awesome, unique, but even harder to use as a street car, for sure

 

yeah...he's here in Melbourne. We're on the Ferrari Club committee together. Absolutely awesome car. More charisma than pretty much any other Ferrari (non f1) I've seen on the track. If you saw it in person, especially if it was on a track, you'd fall in love with it. We all did here.

 

Wow that car is gorgeous. I'm assuming that the rolled material on top of the seats outside the car is extra upholstry for the seats?

Why is Gil selling the car? He also has a normal street F40? Why are there no buyers in Oz for such a great car? I saw the LM at the Melbourne Grand Prix and it looked awesome.

 

i haven't asked him why he's selling it. he hardly uses it...i suspect that's the main reason. it's certainly a great car. yes..he has a street F40.

buyers in Oz? Probably because it's a bit useless here. No one is really set up to properly look after, transport and pit the car without it being a major hassle....but i guess that's only a matter of money.

i'm seeing him in the next few days. i'll ask if i remember.

 

Thx - would be interested as I can't imagine that I could bring myself to sell such a car if i was ever fortunate enough to own one. That car is an ultimate car - much more prized than a street F40. I much prefer the track to the street so I end up not using my street F40 too often. I bought a 430 Challenge which I will start to use in China now that rainy season is almost behind us
