I’ve always loved these cars. They are great for summer errands with the kids packed in the back. The movie lineage is cool, but I’m not sure it warrants a big pricing premium.

Regardless, good luck with the sale!

I agree the W124 is a model I think will go up in value. The CE coupe or in this case CE convertible and of course the 500e/E500 have shown signs already the past couple years.

Thanks. Totally agree. Great cars to take the kids for a drive. My kids can’t get enough rides with the top down when the weather is nice.

I'd probably pay more if Tom Cruise hadn't driven it, but that's just me...

These are nice cars. Dull to drive, but nicely built and a stylish and practical cruiser to get around town. When I sold used sports/lux cars in college 15 years ago, the dealer I worked at always had one of these in inventory and they sold quickly at $12-15k. Seems like values have been stable all that while.

Car is still available. These won’t get any cheaper and this car has been very well maintained. Open to offers. Thanks.

I have a 1994 E320 sedan (W124), they are terrific cars! They are the last of the old school driving cars. So well built and have so much class. They are somewhat exciting to drive because they don't feel like contemporary autos at all and in that, is where the fun is. Good luck with the sale, the coupes and convertibles hold their value.

What is screwed up about all this is I was interested in this car back in 14 when it first popped up here. I was even talking about it to the SE region MBCA director about it just a few weeks ago at dinner. I figured it was gone forever so I focused in on the E500 in that thread I started a couple weeks ago.

Lousy timing on my part seeing it here again.
