1994 Ferrari 348 Challenge #098818, Never Raced or Converted

Hi All,

So there was a ton of questions surrounding a car that popped up on FerrariChat a few months ago. I ended up taking a risk and purchasing it from the second owner who ended up becoming a friend along the process! The forum and the former owner was not exactly sure what the car was...

After bringing the car to Miami, consulting with Al Roberts and Sherpa, we came to the conclusion that #098818 was an actual factory 348 Challenge car that simply had never been converted.

Originally destined for Ferrari of Monterey, with it's window sticker stating 348 TB Challenge and "Challenge Package," #098818 ended up being delivered by service manager Al Roberts, also a well known Ferrari Challenge technician. The car went to John Bettencourt of San Jose and spent the rest of its life as a road going Ferrari.

The car has original paint, interior and is in very original amazing condition. Further inspection reveals that the car has its original Roll Bar mounting plates, Racing seatbelt eye lets and other unique factory Challenge features. Another car to add to the list of hidden gems that had not been previously documented or discovered until now. Enjoy! Will post some more photos of the documentation later today.
