I am new to Ferrari ownership. I took my 1994 348 Spider to my Ferrari dealership to address a front end vibration. Come to find out the aftermarket rims that came with the car don't fit, so I was able to track down a set of used, mint condition stock rims for 2k. However the dealership want $3000 for a new set of lug nuts....what the heck? I tracked down an American made aftermarket set for $300. Does anyone have any experiense with after market lug nuts or any suggestions? Thanks, Ed

    Ed,

Ricambi America is a FerrariChat forum sponsor & Daniel is very knowledgeable about the 348 (he personally owned one for many years). They sell the Hill Engineering Bolts in all the sizes needed. I have a 1995 348 Spider & for the fronts = 55 mm length / Rear = 80 mm length. The Hill Engineering bolts are a much higher grade steel & manufacturing vs. the outrageously expensive Ferrari bolts and are about $18-20 a bolt, or less than $400 for a full set. FYI: The 348 wheels are directional, meaning they have a desired rotational direction = Fat/fuller leading edge when rolling.

Check Ebay too, someone's selling a complete set for $300. No idea of the quality, etc, but sure beats $3000.

If my 355 lug bolts are the same, I'll sell them to you. I put a set of modular 360 wheels on my 355, so had to get longer lugs. I also have 10 52mm (360) Hill Engineering lugs I can't use because I had to mill 15mm off the back wheels to make the offset right, then had to get corresponding shorter lugs. FYI: new Hill bolts are $19 each from Ricambi, and much better than the $3k Ferrari product.

F355 bolts are too short for use on the 348.

348 Spider uses 55mm in the front and 80mm in the rear.
