Happy Saturday Morning to everyone!!! Iam helping a good friend with the sale of his car !! i will not disclose names or pictures on line you need to call me and i will explain it all on the phone , ( the car in in very nice shape and the price is right $$$ ( Your time is never wasted with me and i wouldnt waste yours ) I have alot of people call me and ask for my help in hooking them up with a buyer for their car. At YELLOW COMPASS GROUP WE ARE ALL FERRARI OWNERS HERE FOR OTHER FERRARI OWNERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! im on my 2nd cup of coffee feel free to call and chat Mike 973-610-7111
Guys knock it off !!!!!! I'm Michael Craig I own yellow compass group I'm a proud sponsor on FERRARI CHAT and I'm keeping my clients anonymity and that's the end of it !!! if you're interested call me if not then please don't call me And keep the comments to yourself
More coffee needed it looks like..... As far as we are told, there are certain criteria that must be met to have a valid advertisement here, which yours is lacking. Now does sponsorship waive all the rules? We don't know, guys are just correctly pointing it out
Michael, I'm shopping for a car like this right now and appreciate your vow of anonymity for your clients but does that extend to the car itself? Doesn't seem like an issue to share basic info about the car...just my 2 cents. Good luck.
This shadiness is not instilling any confidence among members. My phone call for a friend yesterday was never returned. He finally got some details and surmised that it was too many miles for the price. No pictures or details after 36 hours with the tag line of "I've got the car you want call me now" is very close to screaming fire in a crowded theater. JMO
Sean I think you should get your story straight your friend Sam called me we had a very nice conversation ( I sent him all the information that he requested immediately with pictures) I asked him if I should call you back he said not necessary so I think you have Alzheimer's buddy
Michael politely stated in the initial post to call him if interested. Why is that so difficult? Anyone that has true, genuine interest should call. It's pretty simple.
Yea I agree and I don't get it. Mike simply asked to give him a call if anyone is interested in the details. So why not just call him instead of all the criticism. Everyone has a choice and reasons to sell the way they want.
it just seems like the wrong approach. F-Chat Classifieds should have more info. Everyone would be interested if the price was $5,000, Everyone would be interested if the price was $10,000 Even $20,000. Actually, that would be the "right price" for me to buy it. Should I make that call? What is the right price?
I completely agree. Since I was bored I looked at the other car for sale posts from Michael. All of his other car for sale ads included a price so not including a price for a car for sale in this ad is not a normal method of operation for Michael. While it may be bothersome to call or PM to get a price and/or more information I would not have an issue if I was interested. I would have to at least make one call or send one email so I could see the car, get a PPI or otherwise. How much are you really put out because there is no price/pictures? If anyone would be out anything it would be Michael who may lose a potential sale for an ad lacking information.
I asked about the car and got quick information. Looked to be in great condition. Not many GTS out there at all to begin with. I think the issue is that Michael was asked to be discrete in this situation so he tried to go that route. Maybe he should have posted it in the 355 Market thread in that section since all the normal info wasn't going to be out in the open... I don't see an issue. Mike is a stand up guy that has been helping owners with great pricing and info on parts. He is a FULL sponsor here, not a guy paying to sell 1 car or 10 cars... If you are complaining about this situation, you are likely not buying so take it to P&R. I think No harm no foul. Robb
Seems like just the type of guy I want to by a Ferrari from. Hostile and confrontational. Two qualities I always look for when buying a mid-90s Ferrari.
Well I was (and am) interested. Mike gave me great information on that car and put me on the trail of several others. I thought he was extremely helpful. Frankly I'm not sure what the pissing and moaning is about.- Paul
I usually don't get involved in these type of posts however I know Michael and he is a good guy and very knowledgeable in the 355 market as well as many of the other models. He has spent a tremendous amount of time with me trying to help me find the right car. Trust me not many guys like him around... Thanks, Lonnie
