90K is ALL the money for a 355CH. 75K'll get you a nice one and you can pick one up for 55K and throw some money at it. 90K will more or less get you a 360CH...

 

I was thinking the same thing...$100K reserve for 1995 Challenge Car? LMAO! There have been plenty that have been very well maintained down into the $50's - $60's.

 

It's obviously gone to an "ebay specialist"....note the photo logos..

It's no longer being sold by Moorespeed, 'cuz he would not have put those ????? in the description!!!!


I concur with the pricing as well. That's a good, well maintained, well used Challenge.

A ton of quality work and upgrades have been done by Moorespeed (Austin) to the car for the Walter Mitty race. The cool suit is not stock, fo' sure!

 

That car's been for sale for over 8 months. I don't know who's selling it at this point but Moorspeed had it advertised in Autosport, Autoweek and some other places at the same 100K price.

That's totally off the wall...you'd have to be insane to pay that price. Even with a brand new gearbox and a brand new engine from Ferrari (which you can't get anyway) you'd still be hardpressed to find anyone willing to pay more than 80K.

I am sure Martin can concur but the last Challenge car to sell for 75K of greater was mine back in January 04. I think one other 355 C sold for 78K on the west coast last year.

I realize a lot of work has been done in excess of the normal Challenge upgrade but at the end of the day I doubt it's much faster than stock.

At 100K it will be for sale for a long time.
