Okay everyone we just finished some major service work including timing belt replacement on a 95 F355. After reassembly the engine cranks but will not start. We have spark on both banks. We have confirmed proper power supply to the injector connectors on both banks. A noid light shows there is no injector pulse on either bank. Looking for some assistance or ideas please.

    So you have no fuel.
Let's ignore the noid light data for now and check fuel pressure on the fuel rails (L/R) The 95 has provision to do this via the schreider valves at the end. When you are sure you are getting fuel pressure, then you can check for why there are no fuel injector pulses...

I know we have fuel pressure at the fuel filter. I have not actually checked it at the fuel rails. Just to be clear this vehicle only has one pump and filter.

It does have 2 fuel rails left and right. This is pressure after the fuel (2) regulators.

FYI Mitchell knows his stuff. You are in good hands...follow his flow chart. We are solid on base timing?

FBB I admit this was the first Ferrari engine I timed but I followed your postings in multiple threads and checked and checked and rechecked my timing. I feel confident that the results I was getting was right in line with it being in time and the cams being degreed properly. If the timing was off would it cause the lack of injector pulse?? The vehicle was at this shop for a really long time before I arrived but it did run when it came in.

Just FYI my boss did hit it with a little shot of the dreaded starting fluid and it fired right up.

I am going to go check the fuel pressure right now.

I would check the crankshaft/camshaft sensors and wiring/connectors.

If it has fuel pressure and runs on starting fluid check the grounds.

Okay guys I have the update for you and let me start my giving you all a big GIANT THANK YOU from my boss and I. We truly appreciate your knowledge and the time you took to post on my thread.
So I had no fuel pressure at either of the fuel rail schraders. This made no sense to me. I went ahead and hooked the fuel pressure gauge to the fuel filter outlet and confirmed fuel pressure there. The pressure was extremely high like 100 psi. This made us think the pump was dead headed. I was not the person who disassembled this vehicle so reassembling one for the first time was interesting to say the least.. Upon inspection I found that I had crossed the supply line and the return line on the fuel block on top of the engine. Swapped these lines and it fired right up!!!!

Very common mistake for first timers. It is why you check the fuel pressure at the rails.

Now for a test drive and shake down, ship it to the customer and prepare for the one we have coming in right behind it! Definitely been a learning experience.

Good thought for the next one but I wasn't the one who disassembled this one. Switching the lines is one of those hard lessons learned that I will not make again.
