1995 F355 GTS - White on Black - 19k miles

Nice car. Well documented and serviced. Unique, but not ultra desirable color combination. I hope you get what you are asking Luke, but I can not help but think it is optimistic. Hope to be proven wrong.

I love it. I just love it. Did I say I love it? It's fricken perfect. I am struggling with superlatives to describe her. The color is just amazing. It is a steal too. First competizione is among the best in the business and you clearly took a take no prisoners approach to maintaining her. Good luck with the sale!

Great car and a great seller. Whoever buys it will be extraordinarily happy. There is no better sorted, maintained, and cared for 355 out there.

Wow that is an amazing looking car. 355 GTS represents the best of both worlds as far as I'm concerned. A hard top to keep you nice and dry in bad weather or pull it off to get the wind in your hair feeling without the worries of a convertible top.

I'm not generally the biggest fan of white but the 355 looks perfect in white. Beautiful car!!

 

Luke, I've been away from the board for a while - peeking in here and there - but I'll admit, this was the last thread I thought I'd read! I'm actually very surprised you're only asking $79k, as well. After looking for a good GTS (granted an F1) for more than a year, I can attest to how many mediocre examples are out there asking similar prices with more mileage, not as many long-term sorts, spotty maintenance, and obviously much more "common" colors.

I suppose the color may be subjective and certainly a personal choice, but for someone looking for a white 355 GTS, this is probably going to be their once in a lifetime opportunity.

White is certainly an "in" color now... even for Ferrari. And you're right that it shows the lines well - I think I recall hearing somewhere that car designers use white as the basis during all designs because it's pure in showing all curves and creases. I think there are two types of buyers for this car - the guy who wants a really nice, well maintained and sorted 355 GTS and happens to like the way white looks when he sees yours (wasn't otherwise even considering it), and the guy who's been lusting for a rare white example of a 355 GTS. Either guy would be getting a bargain here, but you're really giving it away to the second guy!

In any case, best of luck with the sale - I don't think this will last long!

 

This is the first time since my Testarossa that I can recall being obsessed with a car. I have gone through every machination to try and push it through but I certainly don't need to be adding a sixth car right now and I can't imagine life without my beloved TR... But that 355 in white.... Every time I go home and see the TR in the garage I feel like a cheating spouse!!

 

We have a gentleman in NJ that meets on a regular basis at Auto Elite, a premier Ferrari Shop on the East Coast. White on black GTS, 30,000 miles, could bet my life it's a 1995. BEAUTIFUL car!
