    Great thread and congratulations on a beautiful example. We also have a F512M. Our car is in excellent condition and purchased a few years ago out of a collection at around 40,000 km. I have done about 3k km in it. I am also thinking about Classiche. The two main things I require is to find an OEM muffler since our car has a Tubi fitted and also to remove the rear wheel spacers a previous owner fitted to make the rear wheels fit the arches better. Do you or anyone have a comment about whether handling is affected either negatively or positively if I return to stock? And if anyone has an original muffler I might be interested!

    There was a Fuchs exhaust mounted when i purchased the car. Now i replaced it with the OEM muffler which i luckily found in my friends garage. It was just used for approximately 500kms. For the spacers, i don´t have a comparsion. I bought the car with spacers in the front and rear but never drove it. Now its all back to factory spec.

    Sometimes mufflers pop-up on ebay.
