1995 Berlinetta with 32k and having powersteering rack leak. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Can they be repaired often? I have a mechanic I trust. Anyone know where I could pick up a used one? Thank you, located in SLC. I've found a couple off of a F1 car. Could it be used on a 6sp car? Any input would be terrific. Thank you

I had mine rebuilt.. the rebuild wasn't expensive but the labor to get the rack out will make your mechanic cry.

Rebuild is an excellent suggestion. Any idea on where to send it? Thanks for the input.

I can't for the life of me remember where it was sent to be rebuilt and couldn't find anything in the email trail with the shop that did the work. I do remember it was just a normal shop that did the work though.. apparently there's nothing exotic about the rack so any competent specialist can take care of it. I'll dig around some more and see if I can get the shop name though.

Well if you ever want to know if a part works on your car from another in the series I suggest you go to ricambi America or anther parts supplier and go through the parts list. If there is something specific to a car like a F1 it will show a completely different part number.

So cross reference with those part catalogs.

That's what I always do when I am researching parts.
