    Ok, so my car arrived today and I am very happy so far. Dont worry I will post some pics this weekend.. since I am awaiting for my "packet" from the dealership to arrive with the title and manual(s) I need help with otherwise simple things. So please forgive these stupid questions (I'm almost embarrased to ask).. but here goes. my interior dome light will not go off. I tried both doors the combination switch and even the two switches next to it and nothing will kill it. I searched around the interior and cant seem to find anything that controlls it. Also where is my gas tank release knob? I tried the areas where I thought it 'should' be and cant find that either.. I could probably figure it out if I comb the car top to bottom but this is what this place is all about right?

    Ask away! Heck my first week of ownership I called 285Ferrari to ask how the #@$! do I start this thing? Alarm issues...

    Anyway not sure on the dome light, but gas door release is a button on the center console. That often doesn't work (electrical short issues, mine has that prob) so plan B is to open the engine cover and pull the small handle sitting near the fuel door area inside the engine bay.

    lol.. yeah my car - you need to press the alarm button everytime to start it up.. is that normal? I mean even if its not armed.. anyway, thanks for the gas tank tip.. I must be blind because I dont see the gas tank button.. and a few of my switches (door lock, unlock etc) are gummy which is something that I see happens a lot..
    the strange thing about the interior light is that it was off when it was sitting in the transport truck.. so I dont know if there is something I did while tinkering around inside or what.. worst case , I will pull the bulb for the night..

    There is another 'dome light' switch just below the 'hazard light' switch next to the shifter.... see if that works :)

    Yes the immobilizer alarm is a PIA, it self arms so even if you don't set it you need to disarm it to start. And the infamous gummy interior...every car will get it, and it's a super cheap DIY fix with some elbow grease and plenty of rags. When you're ready search this forum, there's a ton of good detailed threads. Briefly...I used Easy Off fumeless oven cleaner, wiped off the sticky coating, then painted with NAPA spray on plasti dip - looks fantastic and won't melt in the sun!

    Good record Goth :) thanks again and yes Fchat rocks!! I just told my brother about it.. I thought he would have known since he's had his 308 for 5 years now.. he's lurking in the shadows as a guest now but I am sure he will join soon.. a picture that he cant see will most likely be the catylist to him signing up.. but yeah you guys are awesome.. just copied that link to the online manual.. that should probably be a 'stiky'..

    Interior light on took me 3 hours to figure out how to switch it off it when I first got my baby. I was too lazy to read the manual. Nero and tan great combination. Are the wheels 20"? Enjoy her and don't forget she likes to run hard so don't hold back.

    lol- I dont feel so bad now.. but at least you have a manual. I ended up having to print one off at work from Ricamba.. The Rims are 19" but it is sitting on lowering springs which is why they fill the wheelwells so snugly. I Love black and tan anything- but it does look especially nice on a Ferrari..
