And if you always wanted one, then why not buy one back when they were 45-55 grand all these years? Oh that's right, because they didn't have the "potential" to "rapidly increase" until right about now. Funny how attaching a graph with a 90 degree angle changes the behavior of some.

Why are you selling the car so quickly? Has it been irradiated by the nearby "dangerous" nuclear power plant?

The car is now on eBay, where it was pointed out to me that there's a NYS registration sticker which would suggest that the car was titled after the prior sale in New Jersey.

Is it just me or do we see more drama about the sale of 355's than other models. There have been soime great threads about 355's and the sellers. Lots of entertainment.

Okay.. you win.. I'll up my offer.. You know I've always dreamed about owning a 355 GTB or GTS.. It is one of my dream cars.. I've been looking for so long and finally the one I've always wanted is right in front of me and more importantly is on the east coast. Would prefer a 95 vs 96 but I love the fact that it has only one owner and that you are not a subsequent owner.. I just can't stop thinking about this car and how I want to own it.. I'm in my mid 40's in age and I've been looking for this car for fifty plus years.. I know... the math right.. When I was in my dads sack I was into Ferrari's as well and had a Dupont Registry in there.. How it got there I have no clue.. but it was on the coffee table so I read it.. A new one would come monthly so I would watch the market until I made my journey..

I'll up the offer.. $45k and hmm.. I do $60.00 on the 90 hour wash..

Why you so angry.. Lets keep it strictly business.. This is a sale thread you know.

if an attitude like this doesn't make you run from this sale, you deserve to get played by this fool.
Are you sure your not talking about the toy models you play with in the bathtub? vroom vroom, amiright? very imaginative on the concours end though, very grown up for someone with the maturity of a 5 year old.

very surprised he hasn't been banned yet. sad man, Very sad man

They say it's never a good idea to break up a knife fight as one usually ends up getting stabbed. As a brand new member of the community, I probably should have the least to say.

I think Car Forums in general are great (I belong to several - Mercedes, Defender, etc), and really help benefit our community and enthusiasts.

I also think we have established that this is a free country and folks are able to buy and sell cars to their heart's content.

It was the misleading tactics used and the apparent attempt to prey on members' willingness to help other members.

But this has gone way beyond and is now so personal as to make me cringe when I read it.

Some of us that have contributed here for years know the seller, and his history with nice cars..

I'm sure he "wins a few, loses a few" but for the most part they are very nice examples.

So, "not buying one" would only limit your choices in the market, not really hurt him that much, IMO.

It would certainly be a place to start!! :D

Maybe re-read Dale Carnegie's classic tome.

    Maybe we ALL should.

And geez guys, the level of vitriol in this thread is very high. How about we all back out quietly and see if there's anyone left here who would buy this car.

After all, there are no issues with the car, right?
