Available for discreet transaction to a discerning and serious collector of exclusive, rare or unusual vehicles.
Basically a "like new" 1996 Impala SS with only 93 miles (!!!)
Only "aftermarket" modification being OE wheels having got polished right after original purchase in '96.
    Located in Riverside, CA.
    No trades accepted.

Don't know the relative value, but if you adjust for inflation, the MSRP in 2017 would be about $41k. Just to put it in perspective.

Unheard of miles on desirable 96 ss
Nothing to compare. It belongs to Chevy museum if there is one.
I have a 95 ss with 17k miles. I thought mine is super low miles. :D
Simply amazing. Good luck with your sale.

I had a '96 DCM. Great car! I sold it in 2001 with 7,500 miles for $2k more than I paid for it new! I knew I would miss it, but sold to buy a Boxster S

Thank you all for compliments and well wishes.
While I personnally prefer cars that are to be and are being driven, this one would definitely be a worthy addition to any serious collection or museum for its original, like new condition.
How often does one have an opportunity to acquire over 20 year old dry climate and always garaged car with less than 100 miles on the odo, not to mention a fully loaded & spec'd car that was a last model year of its kind and considered by many as a classic and collectable already by the time its production ended in 1996 ?
We have received couple of offers including one or more trade-ins, but the owner (a friend) is wishing to downsize his collection, not to deal with more cars we know nothing of their condition, interest or value.
We're trying to refrain from auctions, be they online or onsite, but might explore such options to reach wider pool of buyers.
So if anyone has serious interest in making a reasonable cash offer for the car, I'll be sure to try and convince him to accept it.

I always like these time capsules..if you were to take the 26k MSRP and invest in 1996, today you would have around $140k just to put in a money perspective..
Hence even more valuable when you consider the opportunity cost! good luck with the sale...
