This is NOT a perfect car, so if you are looking for one, DONT buy this car. It is a 1997 1/2 Lamborghini Diablo Roadster. 16,825 orginal miles. I purchased it in July of this year. When it arrived I had the following done to it. Full fluids and filters, interior pulled and re-condiitoned with some re-spray, all wheels repaired from scrapes, mounted and re-balanced. Rear wing removed and re-sprayed due to numerous chips and cracks. Passanger side door latch and lock replaced as it was in-op. The car was orginal purple and HAS been fully re-painted in OEM SIlver..it is of very very good quailty and was costly, but it has had a color change. There was a lot of work done to the car by the previous owner in May of 2010, full engine out service, new clutch-Kevlar, pressure plate, throw-out bearing, all new belts, hoses, plugs, air filters, fuel filters, all the fluids, door & engine gas struts, Alpine speakers, paint touch up (front spoiler), etc, etc. My PPI via authorized Lamborghini Dealer revealed the following..(copy available) 1) Slight coolant leak from driver front side head 2) Slight oil leak from drivers side head area 3) Front lift systme in-op (shocks are fine) 4) Horn in-op The carbon engine surrounds are missing. The carbon engine surrounds were stolen from a shop where the car was being worked on before I owned the car. Here are a pictures. Car runs strong and all other items work..this is a perfect car for someone that wants a Lambo and is not looking for THE PERFECT car. It is priced accordingly. Watch the fluid levels....or do the repairs yourself..repair the in-op lift system..or dont use it..I hardly do on my Diablos anyways. The car has a clean car fax, no salvaged title and it has no accident history. $80,000\\ Roy Cats 425-353-2287 Ext #3 Seattle [email protected] Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
That is a ridiculously low price for that car still. Wow. I would have thought $95k was the floor for something like that.
+1 Never thought that this low miles car is only $80k. Somebody is gonna have a nice value for that price
Thanks Alex...enjoy the car you got a heck of great Deal and I am glad it is staying in the USA.. FYI..after you said Yes, my guy in Europe said yes as well...snooze you loose..
Smart buy, my friend. You won't ever lose a dime on that car. It is bottomed out and you should have a few thousand of wiggle based on how much you paid. Great purchase.
Even given the issues (and the head work is going to be big $'s), me thinks Roy sold that way too cheap. -mick
The work is not big bucks...well depends on who you take it to and how long you want it to sit in their shop..
