1997 550 from Naples Motorsports

flying down in a week may be too late if it is a good deal and /or a good car.

 

They've had that car for awhile, about market $ for a '97 I think. I'm not sold on the color combo.

I said it the other day, if there's smoke there's fire although I have no dealings with Naples Motorsports. They definitely have a world-class detailer & photographer. PPI!

 

I got my 550 from Naples Motorsports. They were a class act all the way. They even paid for repairs they didn't have to after the PPI. My deal with them was anything over $1k found in the PPI was theirs, anything under was mine. The total came to $800 or so and Naples picked up the whole tab. Needless to say, I'm a happy customer.

Remember, one individual on an internet forum can throw mud on an otherwise good company with hundreds of happy customers. Either way, the PPI will tell you if it's a good car and that's all that really matters.

 

yup price is about right, a little on the higher side but the car looks really good. Absolutely love the silver/grey leather combination. Unique and just very stylish. In my opinion worth paying a little more than your usual silver/bordeaux or silver/black or silver/blue

At that price you should get books, tools, full service history and major service done in the past year.

Good luck. I am sure your experience will be worth while making the trip. The PPI can be done at Manfreds, although they have some sort of relationship others have confirmed that the shop does a PPI by the book. No favors. So feel good about what you get back from them as PPI.

You won't find a more reputable Ferrari guy out there, and he has two 550s for sale right now.
Nothing against Naples, just letting you know about other options.
