SN ZFFXR42B000108795 is estimated to be 1 of 25 worldwide gated GTS examples with carbon sport seats. A German car from new, I purchased this example from Autohaus Blochl, an authorized Ferrari dealer in Osterhofen, Germany. It has 58k klms (approx. 36k miles) and comes with a complete set of books (including original warranty card), tools, and one red and black key FOB. Maintenance receipts and dealer stamps indicate an extensive service history, including a top end engine rebuild to replace valve guides at 16k klms. The dash is excellent, with no leather pulling away and, with the exception of the edge of the rectangular vents in the dash, no stickies are present anywhere else in the interior.

Immediately after receiving the car in the USA in the fall of 2022, it was treated to an extensive engine out major service at www.Automotive-International.com in Charlotte, NC. In addition to timing belts and tensioner bearings, the camshaft seals and the water pump and thermostat were also replaced. All oil, coolant, and fuel lines were inspected, with several being replaced. The HVAC ECU was rebuilt, a new passenger side shock absorber actuator as well as the driver side radiator were also installed, as well as four new Continental Extreme Contact tires.

This 100% stock example needs nothing and I would not hesitate to jump into it and take a long road trip. For 179k obo you can fly into Charlotte and drive it home! For further questions, call Glenn Butler at 704-962-9683

@JSinNOLA An explanation is definitely in order on the license plate! I purchased that plate for a 208 GTB turbo that I also recently imported. For those of you unfamiliar with those cars, they were 2.0 liter V-8 turbos produced for the Italian market to get around hefty taxation concerning larger displacement cars - so the 2.0 liter was basically a tax dodge of the Italian tax laws. At least that is what it was designed for, but in reality, when you drive one it is WAY faster and more fun to drive than a normal 328! In fact, IMO it is the best of the entire 308/328 family - and everyone whom I let behind the wheel of my car tends to agree and walks away with a huge smile on their face! Nevertheless, the plate was too long to fit in the license plate area for the GTB turbo so I decided to just throw it on the F355!

Out of curiosity, how did you get that number of the GTS units with CF seats?

I know one here in Italy which looks exactly like this one - single owner from new.

@Marco91 there is a gentleman here on Fchat who is keeping a worldwide registry of carbon fiber sport seat cars and that was his estimate - Perhaps he can chime in on this thread!

It's think its definitely more than 25 GTS with the carbon seats. I have for sure seen more than 25 cumulative over the years of constant searching.

That said, they're still very rare. The seats alone these days are valued at $25-30k.

    Nice car, GLWS.

That's me. I have 35 GTSes and 49 Berlinettas in my database with one RHD B/GTS that I haven't been able to decipher. The numbers are much smaller when you break down into LHD/RHD, original seats vs swapped in, and then Manual (and non-conversions) vs F1 . In short, these carbon fiber racing seats are exceptionally rare and unobtanium.

I honestly think you've underpriced the car, considering what it cost in Germany + shipping and import fees, and a full service. The only thing it "needs" to complete it is the Challenge Grill. GLWS!

@GLENN@TEAM AI That tax dodge may have worked in the 80's, but my 1990 Delta Integrale 16v (2.0l) was taxed at the 3.5l rate because it was turbocharged.

    Beautiful cars!

I am heading over to Essen for the Classic Tecnico on Friday. If it's not sold by the time I get back it will be submitted to BAT.
