    I'm on here all the time figured I might as well post it here....

    Been going back and forth on this but she needs to go:

    Everything works as it should, she runs strong, drives straight and shockingly no underbody rust issues for a midwest truck. I've had her for three years and have dumped a ridiculous amount of money into her, got a pretty thick folder of receipts and invoices to prove it. She's not dolled up at all she definitely would clean up a lot better but I got some basic pics and I made a list of work done. I added a lot of small things but I wanted to be thorough, believe me I could have added a hundred more small things if I really wanted to. Here it is:

    Completely baselined 2 years ago when I bought her, all fluids changed, greased, lubed and all that good stuff religiously. I keep an excel sheet for it, have been using Shell Synthetic and I undercoated her before each winter….used clear film not black to hide things.

    Known issues:
    I had her fully inspected which I will pass along of course with pics. I have an intermittent steering wheel squeak/rubbing type sound. Inspection showed it to be the rubber in the boot and was told there was no need to address it. Inspection report came with pics I can provide. Common rust in corner of rear hatch window, I had this treated when she was painted but it’s there.

    Cosmetic crap:
    Windshield buckeyes
    Common crack in dash at center of steering wheel, not a bad one but it’s there
    Rear badging is misaligned
    Rear bumper needs to be adjusted, low on one side
    Steering Wheel has a nice stitched wrap on it, I’ve never removed it I’m assuming it doesn’t look too good under there

    Thanks so much brother yep she's on mud, being in Michigan is really crippling my ability to move her to a new home it seems. I feel like if my truck was out west it would sell in half a day at the price I'm asking.

    This is my second one, my first was a LX450 got her at the age of 16 and sold her 18 years later in 2018. Still regret it and still talk to the guy waiting for him to sell her back to me. I built this one up in the middle of Covid to be my daily driver but then my commute went from 3 miles each way to 45 miles each way when I took over a new business so that was that, stinks but it is what it is and I don't want 3 cars nor want to watch her sit around gathering dust. I'm just going to take the big L and let someone else be happy with her...

    Sharp truck!

    I am a multiple 80 series owner in Wisconsin. These things do not move as easy out here as they do on the coasts. Not sure why, other than out here it seems people really love their American vehicles and shy away from import stuff. I don't mind as it makes them cheaper for me!!

    It seems like a rock solid, sharp 80, and I am sure you will have no problem getting your price eventually!

    I know I always have better luck posting them in Chicago facebook market, rather than the Appleton WI area, as the markets for these seem to be bigger in the metro areas. Not sure where in Michigan you are located. There are a few decent facebook groups for these trucks, and landcruisers as well.

    Good luck with the sale, and I hope it finds a great new home!

    You're dead on, most people around here have no idea what it is while I know 80 owners out west who get stopped in traffic for people interested in their rigs.

    Thanks for the kind words, most of the people interested so far have been from Texas and Arizona haha

    I've gone back on forth on this over and over, I've put so much blood sweat and tears into her....not even to mention a disgusting sum of money, but it's time to just let her go. I'm not going to have her sit in the garage for another winter.

    Priced reduced to 15k

    Last month had all fluids checked, changed, flushed, everything greased, tires rotated and new Toyota plugs. Got a clean bill of health with a full inspection.

    Here are some pics from today, I removed all the gear I've been driving her as much as I can which has only been a few k miles since I originally posted this ad she's around 257k now:
