    1. Black sunvisor won't stay up. I remember seeing a post regarding someone who can fix this, but cannot find it. Can anyone direct me to resolving this irritating problem?
    2. Anyone know where I might get an original 550 radio?

    The Becker is easier to find than the Sony and there's usually several on Ebay especially if you really want the original cassette version !

    I'm just picking up a 2001 550 with the passenger side sun visor not staying up. The dealer told me that they already had an auto upholster guy look at it as well as some wrinkling of the leather over the passenger side air bag. Apparently the fix of the springs in the visor is relatively cheap and easy and they are getting the upholster guy to have it taken care of before delivery. Check with your local convertible top or auto upholstery shop on the visor issue.

    Your dealer has it wrong, it has nothing to do with a spring but everything to do with a broken plastic sleeve inside the visor. I've repaired about ten of them so far. I replace that broken plastic with a 7075 aluminum piece. It should last the life of the car.
