Other than the lack of the large rectangular side marker lights....what is different than the US models? I know we can import into Canada with our 15 year rule but can this car be imported into the US?
I think TAZ has answered is a couple of other posts. You would need to have it federalized for DOT and EPA. Check a couple of threads which answer this subject.
Nobody should buy a 550 without consulting TAZ. Guy knows his stuff. Respray wouldn't bother me regarding the car. However, trim needs to be resanded and resprayed. You can notice it big time on the rear window.
I would agree... Taz is THE MAN on these cars. I'll see if I can get close-up photos of the trim. Mike
Nope... that's it. It was maintained by an independent mechanic here, and he doesn't keep records of anything. Mike

How much shipping into Port Of Houston, I wonder??? or any other point of entry he might could swing, based upon connections.....
Tex, I'll have to check, but I think sending a container to Houston would be less than $7,500, all in. (including insurance). Mike
Shipping a container from USA to Scandinavia is about 2.000 usd... So I would guess much less than 7.500,-. The car looks fine. Red paint make the air intakes and grills etc. stand out / pop better
Isn't there some sort of rule that you can import a car under a "1 time exemption rule", without some items on the car being "Federalized"?
