    Advertising this for a good friend, who is the 2nd owner of the car.

    On offer is a 1998 550. Red/Tan with approximately 76,000 km (46,600 miles) on the odometer.

    Originally lowered to USD$67,000.00 (Euro 61,850.00) (Reduced on 1/13/16 from $67,750.00)

    NEW PRICE - USD$55,000.

    Needs a major service.

    No accidents, but car was repainted one year ago (the weather here is terrible on paint jobs).

    This is a six-speed manual car.

    Koenig Exhaust

    Shipping is NOT included. Cost to ship to Europe from Kuwait is approximately USD$2,000.00. I will personally arrange for the shipping, or, if buyer prefers, he can arrange for it... makes no difference to me.

    PPI is available at USD$660.00 (Euro 600.00)

    Other than the lack of the large rectangular side marker lights....what is different than the US models?
    I know we can import into Canada with our 15 year rule but can this car be imported into the US?

    I think TAZ has answered is a couple of other posts. You would need to have it federalized for DOT and EPA. Check a couple of threads which answer this subject.

    Nobody should buy a 550 without consulting TAZ. Guy knows his stuff.

    Respray wouldn't bother me regarding the car. However, trim needs to be resanded and resprayed. You can notice it big time on the rear window.

    Shipping a container from USA to Scandinavia is about 2.000 usd... So I would guess much less than 7.500,-. The car looks fine. Red paint make the air intakes and grills etc. stand out / pop better :)

    Isn't there some sort of rule that you can import a car under a "1 time exemption rule", without some items on the car being "Federalized"?
