that looks to be in great shape given the miles.
better shape then most lower mile cars.

nonetheless still don't think id be interest with those miles regardless how sorted it is.

If the service is up to date and passes a PPI it could be a nice car for someone to drive and enjoy. I don't think it's gonna depreciate that much more. if any.

Dam that's cheap! I've typed and erased my 95 3 times this afternoon at 69k with 44k miles gated. Never could quite push the post button though. Wonder which I will divorce first, wife or my F car??

Lol no one will pay 70k for 44 mile 355 right now. But I bet it is one of the better running ones on the market because the smart ones know that a driven car is a happy car. Hold onto it a bit longer and enjoy it depreciation free !

Hmmmm...lessee, would would it be +$24k with low miles????
What could I do with $24k over the next 10 years before it melted at 100k miles?
What if it didn't melt, but was worth, say, $40k????
Or, I could buy a low mile car, spend all the money, and have it worth, maybe, $100k in 10 years????
Hmmm....I'll bet this car has been fully sorted to get 67k on it, when most have gotten closer to 40.
    I think it's a deal, assuming condition.

This could be a great driver's car with some negotiation. Not sure if the value retention is there at $45k, but what about $38-40k assuming everything checks out?

I agree. Pretty sure my 95 B with 53k miles and everything done wouldn't get more than $50k right now, but the new owner wouldn't have to put squat into it and it wouldn't depreciate much if at all even if they rack up the miles.

    Think I'll keep it! :)

Agreed on the first part, looks very nice!

If it's serviced up and mechanically sound I wouldn't have any problems with the miles, especially if there's a little room for negotiation.

I think the car looks pretty nice. Price is reasonable if everything checks out OK.

The funny thing about these cars are a lot of people say they would rather have a car that is driven regularly rather than a garage queen, but when it comes to purchasing, the cars are devalued because of the higher mileage.

I don't post very often, but this one hits close to home. I bought almost exactly this car (mine is 3-pedal, but same year, miles and colors, and very similar condition) 2 years ago for a very similar price. I have absolutely no regrets. I feel like I got a great deal and couldn't be happier. Without looking at the odo, no one has any idea how many miles are on it, and I drive it as much as I can (8k in 2 years) guilt-free.

When I'm done with it, it probably won't be worth as much as I paid for it (it'll have over 100k miles for sure). But the amount I lose is negligible compared to the enjoyment I'm getting.

This car will be a great deal for someone.

If it was a three pedal, I would be interested in it. Especially after getting intimate with my current car. I would feel comfortable knowing what to look for during an inspection.

At this mileage, if it has been well serviced, it may cost less to keep than a very low mileage car that hasn't had its problems yet.

That's actually a pretty good price - but then I remembered how much money I need to maintain the car and I quickly talked myself out of buying it. When I had my 355 and it was worth around $85K I didn't mind spending $6K to $8K for a major but to spend that on a car worth around $40K doesn't make sense. I guess one could just buy it and sell it right before the major is due but you are going to take a hit on the selling price.

Quite the high mileage. Nice example regardless. I've seen cars with a lot less miles look a lot worse.

Point very well taken, Jim. It reminds me of that T-Shirt: "I hate being bipolar. It's awesome!".

I always like to see a properly maintained Ferrari, regardless of transmission and mileage. Like you said, if the result of the PPI is nothing but a clean bill of health, this may very well be a great deal.

    Kind regards,

    Nuno.

Honestly. The stick conversion has been documented. This is not an heirloom car. Th conversion is reversible. If you really want a stick, buy it , convert it, save the parts and enjoy it.
