    So is the car actually an MY98? It has a confusing mish-mash of parts e.g. M2.7 intakes, but M5.2 exhaust heat shield and 96+ center vent with the indent for the immobilizer light?

    Only Challenge cars had M2.7 ECUs this late in production.
