1999 355 SPIDER on Ebay: to trust or not to trust?

the typos in the ad made me smile... but does it look trustworthy?

the guy claims that the car is not salvaged, but he "had to put salvage on eBay description"... hmm..

    Current Bid: US $31,100.00
    BuyIt Now: US $58,000.00

Hm...the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th pictures look like the car has been hit. From the 2nd and 3rd one it looks like the back bumpers been hit and also the from the 4th pic the headlights are not even and probably has been hit as well.. I wouldn't go for it.

Not sure about trustworthy, but it needs about $5K in interior work and a $7K for a major----walk away...Can't believe someone let a 1999 car go like that, terrible..

I checked CarFax for you. The Odometer was a problem. I guess the last owner rolled back the odometer of the car therefore the mileage showing is wrong. I would take this car to an authorized Ferrari dealer in NY and check it thoroughly before I would buy.

I just about cried when I saw that pic - worst looking interior I've seen on any Ferrari that wasn't a theft recovery.

Hey guys, there are miles and there are miles.
That's a very hard 23k miles. It's either 20 trips per day to the mall or a clock job. IMO
