    This is my 1st post, but I've been reading your posts for awhile. My uncle passed away and left me his 550 and I've been trying to get it up yo speed, belts oil change, hoses etc. After reading the posts on the alarm sys I pulled the box opened it and it was corroded inside. I just received the new box and it is an upgrade. How do you hook it up correctly because it's different.

    The old box is repairable, just cut, clean up and resolder the wires to the rechargeable batteries.
    The technique is described on old Fchat threads see "LED alarm light stays on".
    If this doesnt work replace the batteries.

    Get money back on new unit since "doesnt fit".
