    I have a 1999 550 and yesterday a p1445 Fault showed up in the car. So I have two questions if someone can give me some input on. 1st. I have read a little on it this morning, however any assistance on this would be appreciated. 2. If you drive the car with this fault will it create problems? I promised a little girl I would drive her to an event as a gift. So I would like to keep that commitment.

    As I understand its something like emissions auxiliary which sounds very like the loose gas cap error - did you just refuel ?

    Auxiliary to me says non-critical - also because it does not immobilise the car - its an amber light (like 'low fuel') not red (like 'slow down')

    Your fault reader and/or a battery reset may simply make it disappear

    Others may come along to be more conclusive but it is unusual that there are so few other references here
