Got the Ford GT bug and ordered one, never driven one yet.Got a great deal on a 1999 360 6spd for 105k,non euro car Pozzi Blue with chestnut int. shields,6cd,3m clear bra, skid plates 30k and annual service done 27k miles garaged and beautiful rare 6 spd. [email protected]
No that car was a nart blue or a bright met. blue. This car has not been with them.It is a pozzi blue (midnight blue).
What a coinsidence, I just sold my 99' 360 6spd in Grigio Alloy with 27K miles and picked up a 2006 Blue ford gt. (sold 360 for 106K) I have had the GT for 3 months and so far have upgraded the exhaust and computer. The car is fast and very smooth but not as quick or nibble as the 360. The GTs torque is awesome but I think 1 and 2nd gear are to long. Even with the Borla, the sound is not very pure and a bit muffled. Its hard to compare to the loud Capristo on a 360. The bottom line is the Ford is a nice car that gets lots of attention but I already miss my ferrari. But luck would have it that after 3.5 years they called me to order a 430 and I did. The 430 will be here in 1 month so the GT has to go. It has been a lot of fun learning a new car even though it such a short time. Good luck with your sale and new purchase, if you have questions shoot me an email. By the way the GT is for sale for a bit under sticker.
I also sold my 360 last year for a GT. I now have sold the GT and have 430 coming soon. The GT is fun for a few days but it doesn't come close to a F-car in terms of fit, finish, and sound. There is no traction control on the GT either. When you do get your GT, get a TUBI not a Borla. The Borla sounds stock, the Tubi sounds good. They are also close in price.
