    I am considering the purchase of a 1999 911. I have noticed that some have an amber section on the headlight lens and some are all clear. Can someone tell me if this was a change done mid production or what? Thanks for your help.

    The early cars were amber and as the later cars were built they switched over to clear. In around 2002 the headlight configuration changed to a more stylized design.

    No matter as you can pick up whatever hue you want from multiple on-line sources. Easy to change.
