Hello- Looking at this car from a dealer in Dallas. Does anyone know it? I think it was from Arizona. Thanks in advance. Carl
This car? http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/vehicledetails.xhtml?zip=83704&endYear=2015&modelCode1=456MGT&showcaseOwnerId=0&startYear=1981&makeCode1=FER&searchRadius=0&mmt=%5BFER%5B456MGT%5B%5D%5D%5B%5D%5D&listingId=368209441&Log=0
Use the search function to look for common 456M problem areas and be sure to have the car checked out for them. A quick list: Window gaps, leather shrinkage (dash in this car looks okay; can't tell about the rear parcel shelf), suspension failure warning lights, alarm siren, sagging headliner, radiator leaks, bubbling hvac control surfaces, door locks, all three fobs (including especially the red fob with the code tag) and the radio code, smoking exhaust--potential valve guide problem costing $10K to fix), motor mounts, door locks and auto-memory seat adjustment. Lots of other potential issues. Be sure that the auto transmission has been serviced regularly.
I know the list...! But thank you. This one had belts hoses and motor mounts done 1yr ago also a window redone.
It's a nice car, and it still shocks me how low these prices have gotten. Nice that it has factory Shields and blue piping for the interior. Only ding I can see is that it's not a Daytona interior. Very nice in that color! Of course, the 456 makes any color look good. Cheers, George
Prices are definitely in the place for buyers. I would love to see where the price sits in 10 years and beyond. Only way can only be up. Best looking 2+2 Ferrari has made? I think so.
